i heard th 7.9mm was ineffective. the 13mm was ok but not fast or hard hitting enuff. the 20mm 131 was excellent. the 30mm had the damage but not the range. their napalm was ineffective, submunitions wrere good, bombs were good, but air to ground rockets were poor

Why in every thread that you start, you break your posts down into 3 different postings. This is just spam please put them all in one from now on.

It's ok Adler, he is another Kiwi.

His beak keeps getting stuck in the keyboard.

Have a look here

Lone Sentry: German MG-151 Type 15- and 20-mm Aircraft Weapons (WWII Tactical and Technical Trends, No. 30, July 29, 1943)

This site hosts actual intelligence reports from WWII on german equipment, have a browse

(And TRY to say thank you only once.)

I always felt the 15mm x 96 for the MG 151 was overlooked as a superb round/weapon

Just out of curiosity, whey did he do that? Inadvertently hit submit....three times? Or an early upping of his posts?

Either way, I forgive him.

See THIS for data and comparative analyses of all WW2 fighter guns, and THIS for the airborne anti-tank guns.
