Interested in 15th AF Combat Operations on June 23rd, 1944

I have some interesting information about this mission...my grandfather, George Walter Fanning - Radio Airman 37089808, was on a mission through the OSS and was a radioairman on this mission. His mission was to jump out of the plane during the air raid with a map and sizeable amount of money for the partisan forces in Romania. He was captured, however, by enemy forces and held at the Shumen POW camp in Bulgaria where he was tortured. I am looking for more information on the specifics of this mission if anyone has them.
