Lexington (CV-16) Air Group 94 markings?

Greetings,

I've downloaded and read the entire Internet (so it seems), but I can't find any on these markings. I'd like to create some models of the following aircraft that my uncle flew.

I know he was on the Wasp ( CV-7 ) in the Atlantic at the beginning of the war and flew F4F-4 Wildcats with VF-71.

In late 1943 and early 1944, as a LtCdr, he was on the escort carrier Chenango ( CVE-28 ) as Commander of Escort Air Group 35 ( CEAG-35 ) flying F6F-3 Hellcats at Tarawa.

As a Comdr in mid 1945, he was commander of Air Group 94 ( VF-94, F6F-5; VBF-94, F4U-4; VT-94, TBM-3E; VB-94, SB2C-4 ) on the Lexington ( CV-16 ).

If anyone can anyone point me to some sources for the markings for any of these aircraft, I would be very appreciative.

Maybe can I help you, you're looking for a picture or example of F6F-5 Hellcat of VF-94, is it correct ?
I am a warbirds profils collector for flight simulation skinners, and I have a nice color profil of a VF-94 Hellcat n°39, this aircraft served aboard USS Lexington (CV-16) in july 1945.
The markings were quit similar of the VF-8 markings with a little difference.
Does this post help you ?
If yes, and to obtain the picture(s), you can contact me by mp, I am very busy, but I always answer.
Best regard from France.

I have just received a couple of Lexington cruise books that may help with the F4-U markings. I believe one of them covers the time frame in question. There are many photo's and possibly some roster listings also. I'll look throught them and see if I can come up with sosme relavent info.
