Those photos were posted on the Ubi Il-2 board Nov 13 by jarink. His father took the photos of the Port Alberni based Mars doing water pick-up on Lake Elsinore in California during the recent fires in California.

Coulson Flying Tankers has the only two left, the Martin Mars and the
Caroline Mars. And..... both are for sale !!

Wonder what his IAS was prior to touchdown ????

We have built a total of about 1250 of this aircraft (Me-262), but only fifty were allowed to be used as fighters - as interceptors. And out of this fifty, there were never more than 25 operational. So we had only a very, very few.
