Propellor blade Identification- Help needed!

Hello all,

I recently came up with a propellor blade and would like to find out what it is from. It appears to be very WWII to me, but know nothing about it so...

Info from the blade:

Serial no: 93578
Assembly A-20-156-24M

Hmm, looks like it could be off of a P-38 maybe? It's not a Corsair, too short and they used Hamilton Standard props. Lock your doors though, I may drop by and steal it!

Someone else thought it may have come off of a 3-blade p-51 or maybe a c-47(?) skytrain?

I don't know how tall your two fellas are there
but it (the prop) looks a little short for either a P-38 or a P-51

Aeroproducts propeller - the blade P/N was used on type certificated P-51s with hub P/N A542A

The prop hub is quite large. There is a possibility that this prop could have been shortened.

That's about the right size.

Hey Dorkpunch, that is an awesome find! My dad has a complete hub/blade assembly from a Fw 190-it belonged to the plane my great-grandfather flew during WW2. He of course survived the war. It's a family heirloom.

Okay, so assuming its from a P-51, any idea which model or what year it might have been used? What is something like this worth?
