Register of victorys of Luftwaffe Aces

Hello Gentlemen

I would like an explanation on the register of victories of the pilots.
In the location of the combat, Whats means the number before the altitude ?? (in red)
For example, the first victory of Wihelm Batz.

Thx in advance
Regards

someone here will know the full answer but i'd guess it's because the LW split airspace into grids (hence bomber streams to reduce grids gone through) and the number in red is the grid number perhaps?
