I know that if enough people make enough noise, something can get done. I just want to make sure that whatever is done will be noticed. I may get in touch with the CAF headquarters in Midland and see if they have any ideas. They are one of the largest (if not the largest) WWII aircraft preservation organizations and have alot of members in powerful places.

To be honest when I was a kid I had an inflatable Spitfire that I used to play with in the bath

I did. I just to let the air out of it when it was on the water and see it scoot to the other end
