On April 25 the world's only near-complete Blackburn Skua was rediscovered in Trondheim Fjord, Norway. The aircraft has been at the bottom of the fjord since June 13, 1940, when Lt-Cdr John Casson, who was leading the doomed raid on the German battle cruiser Scharnhorst, ditched the damaged dive-bomber.
