Stalag Luft 111

New here been reading about for some time now

Was at a junk store and came across a green jacket that has on it ..

" Former Prisoners Of War..50th ...Stalag Luft 111''

Of all the thing to give to a junk store..

These are the cowboys who gave the Germans so much trouble..

Any info on Stalag Luft 111 ?

To bad the jacket is to small to fit me .. I wonder who's it was ..?

Thanks

David

Are those the guys that built the glider? If it was, they were clever as hell.

I had never seen an aircraft completely disintegrate in the air the way this Me-110 did..."

I visited the camp in May 2006 & put up a video of Harry here:-

Stalag Luft 3 - (good quality video) - Google Video

Last year I hired an aircraft and took some aerial shots of the camp.

Email me rsvp99(AT)gmail.com if you'd like any 'photos.

Thanks.
