| UK DC-3 passenger flights stopped. Ye Ole DC-3 can no longer fly passengers in the EU due to new rules which the Dakota can no longer meet. Not that it can't fly in other roles and...unlike some bandwagon jumpers...it doesn't mean it is grounded. The Dakota needs escape slides, black box, lockable cockpit door and weather radar to meet the standards which is not exactly economic. Ah well...progress. |
