What British WWII Planes used

Hi Guys-

British WWII Plane question- I was wondering what planes they used to make supply drops to the French Resistance during the war. Lancasters? Mosquitos? I know they used Lysanders to get agents and such in and out, but where squadrons of Lysanders used to drop supplies as well?

Thanks.

The best friend of the resistance was the Westland Lystander. Not known so much for para-drops as actually landing behind enemy lines on very austere and short landing spots.

Mosquitos were used, according to what I've read. Can't comment on other types.
