WHAT WAS FERRING OPERATION CALLED "AMFERO"?

The WW2 Atlantic aircraft ferrying operation "ATFERO" is well known, and there are lots of references to it on the Internet. I am looking for any information about the ferrying operation called "AMFERO", which I think was the Pacific aircraft ferrying operation. I can't find any information about it on the Internet.

Aerophil, I may be wrong, but I think that they used ships to ferry aircraft in the Pacific under a certain size of bomber. Again, I may be wrong but this may be why you can't find anything on the ferrying operation there in the Pacific. I will keep looking but you know how it goes.
