| Hello Howdy Ive been a WW2 aviation buff for as long as i can remeber... Im a retired army officer. I served 21 years In the infantry in various assignments and duty postings. Im also a Marine carrier air group Executive officer and TBM-3 Avenger squadron Commander In the MCVG-2. which is an IL-2 virtual squadron.. Im also a rabid ww2 history buff... One of my Buddyies over at Mission for today sent me to your wonderful site. I also posted in my squadron forums a link to this site for our outher members... its a pleasure to be here and I look forward to learning a lot, and Meeting some nice people. |

| Welcome to the forum. TBM Avenger, huh? You have to check out our 'Pacific Theatre Build" in the Modeling section. Several members are building Avengers for the contest including one in 1/144 scale!
