    My First Post. What is this From?

    hiya its my first time on here,
    i used to be quite into planes when i was younger, (model aircraft, airfix kits, flight simulators etc, plus i love ww2 planes... DH.98 Mosquito being my favourite

    anyway recently i saw this in a skip and just had to resque it but my question is does any of you guys know from what plane this belongs too?

    With the part number we can likely look up the propeller and maybe deduce the airplane. Or at least narrow the models down.

    I'm just taking a guess here from some of the books I have it has about the same shape as the prop cones used on the Lockheed Constalations but this is just a guess. And it may be off of a DC-6. I see that it is marked with a 3 and am assuming that it is the third cone off the third engine.
