G'day Folks

Was'nt able to find a colour profile of this European theatre P-39 anywhere so have winged it from a B&W pic posted up here earlier showing the starboard side, and have marked it with the tail serial shown in the pic.

Airacobra P39 (model unknown)
Tail serial 210 354, possibly 350th Fighter Group (345th,
346th, and 347th Squadrons)

If anyone has further info on this plane let's know.

Notes:
'Polly' was one of the American-built Curtiss P-40E Kittyhawk fighter
aircraft which were instrumental in the defence of Milne Bay. 'Polly'
was named, and usually flown, by Pilot Officer Bruce ’Buster’ Brown.
This aircraft is now displayed at the Australian War Memorial in
Canberra.ACT.
