| Merlin MKIII For Sale
This aircraft engine is complete except for the starter and exhausts.
This Merlin was originaly installed on a Spitfire Mk.I or Hurricane Mk.I fighters but most probably on the French Army prototypes Dewoitine D521 or the Amiot 353 in the late 30’s. The french inscription for the crankshaft rotation leads to this conclusion.
The engine has never run since it’s OA during WW2. It has been stored in dry conditions and no corrosion is apparent. It is presently in Montreal Canada.
