| R-2600, where there´s a engine ser. Nr. stamped on the block? Hello, where there´s an engine ser. Nr. stamped on the engine block of R-2600 except of the plate. An engine from A-20 was found in Poland and they are trying to identify its Russian crew, more here Archeologia lotnicza ?l?sk Cieszy?ski

| Hi Roman; Try looking in the area between the cylinder heads. The engine in question has no data plate?

| I don´t know Joe but don´t think so. I´ll let them know to check the area between the cylinders.

| Try to see pistons itself. But there will be producers numbers only... Nothing useful for identification - registration from late 1943 was held by USAAF Serials only. |
