However, these might be aircraft with reduced defensive armament. Perhaps someone can provide info about the typical post war configuration of these aircraft?
 
The 20 mm in the tail was removed. In the post war years they generally kept their armament except for special ops aircraft. Radio and radar equipment also varied. AFAIK in Korea they kept all defensive armament even though there was a spell where gunners were ordered not to fire their weapons during night missions. There are other variables that might alter some of these numbers as well.
