    Do 335 Pfiel Climb Graph

    Hello everyone.

    My first post here.

Would anyone be able to interpret the graph shown in "attachments"?

I know the vertical axis represents height in km, and the "GM1" notation is self explanatory.

    As for the rest?????????

What is the initial rate of climb at ground level?

How is the horizontal axis calibrated?

I know the reproduction is small, but an "experten" should have no trouble.

    Thanks.

    Hello at ease,
I am very certain that the vertical axis is calibrated in meter per second ,here the Do 335 have a rate of climb of about 9.5 m/sec or 1870 ft/min at groundlevel. It seemes for me that the specificationes at the "GM 1" are consumption-values , in this case Gramm per second.
Thank you for this contribution.I would expect a better performance of this a/c.

    Hello At Ease,

Can you attach the PDF, the link is passworded.

    The graph you presented has
The X axis labeled in Meters / Second rate of climb
The Y axis labeled in Thousands of Meters of altitude

Thus Sea Level climb is around 9.7 meters / second
Climb at 2,000 Meters is around 10.5 meters / second
Climb at 7,700 Meters is around 6.5 meters / second
Climb falls to zero at 11,000 meters.

That is how I read the graph. YMMV.
