    Hanger Flying - P-38 pilot's guide book

    I'm not sure if this really qualifies as 'Flight Test Data', but it is interesting. 'Hanger Flying' was put out by Lockheed to give P-38 pilots an informal guide on flying and fighting the Lightning and how to get the most out of it. I think it's very cool

    Thanks. To make it even more interesting, the combat illustrations are by Fred Kohn, the author of a fun but bogus novelization of his 'experiences' flying the P-38 in the MTO called 'Kohn's War'... He provoked the ire of Hub Zemke with his BS, and this is what happened...
