    The future of flight sims?

I found this interview with Douglas Trumbull on the "Ain't it cool", YouTube page. For anyone who doesn't know, Mr Trumbull is a noted pioneer in special effects. He is the man responsible for the effects in "2001: A Spacy Odyssey", "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", "Blade Runner", "Star Trek"...anyway the list goes on and on. Somewhere around the 10.30 minute mark he starts talking about how he has been working with the people at Flight Simulation | Christie - Visual Display Solutions. I would love to see how this type of technology could filter down to our beloved flight combat sim(s). Maybe this isn't exactly "IL2 Sturmovik" related, but seeing how its my favorite of the "combat sims", I felt it belonged here (lol).

    Anyway here is the link....
