How to use the gunsight on the Mosquito?

Does anyone know of a way to make use of the gunsight on the Mosquito usable?

I may be missing it, but I cannot find anything in the operations manual and I'd like to use the aircraft in the interceptor role as well as strike.

Default key: SHIFT F1 (to change between normal and gunsight view)

I have version IL2 1946 as well as Pacific Fighters.

I'd like to see more European and maybe even African campaigns.

You can download as many campaigns as your hard drive will hold at Mission4today.
