Interior of Tamiya 1:48 Me109 G6 fuselage, Eduard's radio mini-kit. A blast to do! Pity most will not be particularly visible, but axiomatically, 'I know it's there!' Thanks Mate!

Not to ignore your build, which is indeed lovely, but your pics are equally so! Something I need to research as my efforts are ... wanting - Are you a natural, or did you take advantage of a particularly good research publication?

Planes that are simultaneously both the most over rated and the most under rated.

I believe the Hawker Hurricane. The pilots who flew them reported turning inside the Emil's flying over Malta. Not as nimble as a Spit, and reportedly slower climbing, the Hurricane took enormous damage and still get the pilot home. Their kill numbers, from what I have read, exceed the Spits...

Greets - I am building Tamiya's 1/48 Me 109 G6, and would like to add the oxygen hose from the regulator. I made a hose wrapping wire around a removable core and it works quite well, but I'm thinking I don't have what is needed for this small scale. Has anyone found success with this at 1/48...

    Show Your Workbench

My shop was banished to the cellar after all sorts of bits began creeping beyond the confines of the door. Fortunately, there I found room to expand. I’m sort of spread out, with a few areas specific to individual parts of the process. Outside - vented spray booth and airbrush prep, mixing...

    What's on The Workbench

Now that has seen some heavy service! A very fine job distressing the aircraft! I would’ve liked some filler along the leading edge of the wings. But boy, I like the paint & weathering effects you used. I’m looking forward to seeing more of your projects!

Suggestions For Repairing My Dreadful Rookie Mistake

I’ve deleted the pic - it was just a shot of the canopy clearing stuff I mentioned. I couldn’t make it work - odd as I had no problem with the Hellcat pics. Thanks Group for every suggestion, guidance and assurances you gave while I made fixes. Joining WW2aircraft was maybe my best idea since...

Suggestions For Repairing My Dreadful Rookie Mistake

Thanks gents! I know I don’t need to tell you what a blast it is researching the project, scratch building parts that are inaccurate or missing. And damn it is really neat scribing absent hatches! Hey, are you aware of this stuff called Gauzy Glass Coat Agent? The rub on it was it does...

Suggestions For Repairing My Dreadful Rookie Mistake

Greets Gents - I promised to post a pic or two when the Hellcat was done. Apologies for the delay - a few surgeries and a foot I busted to bupkis. But all is as well as it gets, so here goes: up there... I left the port wing gun bay panel ajar. I’m not pleased with the barrel alignment so...

Why not? I can see no reason not to - (of course as many will tell you, it is quite challenging to see anything with my cheeks resting on my shoulders)

Brilliant finish to the build! I aspire to the results you have achieved, Diogenis - Think I'll go get some practice...
