Has the MiG actually hit the streets yet? From what I saw over on Hyperscale, it looks like it will be pretty nice. If the price isn't too outrageous, it may replace my War Eagle/Hobbycraft kit.

Definitely a Si 204D. Special Hobby makes a really nice kit of the Si 204D in multiple variants (mostly just decal changes, I think) in 1/48. I've got one of them in the stash.
If I'd seen it before I got this one, I'd have picked up the "Martinet" release. It comes with some very fetching...
The lenses (or in this case bulbs) look blue with the light off. However, with the ligtbulbs having a yellow (warm) cast, when turned on they look green. Remember the old Zip-Loc bag commercial "yellow and blue make green?"
When I was going through AW "A" school back in the winter of 1975 during the EW phase of training we got a number of slide-tape presentations (remember those?) with audio of Radio and RADAR audio. It always amazed me how calm and professional these guys always sounded despite having AAA and SAM...
The setup used on the Fw 190 and the drawings makes sense to me. One set of antennae gives you bearing/range and the other gives you height above or below you and range.
This is one I'd love to see a set to convert from the Accurate Miniatures (and its clones) 1/48 kit. The closest thing I've been able to find is the Belchers Bits conversion:

One of my favorite kits, IMO it was well ahead of its time. I've built two of them over the years and really enjoyed both. Looking forward to seeing how yours turns out.
