i guess there was a Rüstsatz M 1 with bomb racks in very early Ju 88.
Later in war the space was used for a second big fuel tank and the bombs where carried outsite in ETCs.
Some night fighter had only one fuel tank and additional weapons " Schraege Musik".

you are right - we used optical sights OIGEE made some in late 1918.
Little is known but they seemed to be used with experimental MG 13 only.
That is a real nice find Becco.
