Enjoying this build particularly as I had over 200 hours in 115 Sqns Andovers , having flown in every one of them at some point apart from the 'Brown Bomber'!

Don't know if this picture of No 12 Sqn crews undergoing a briefing prior to a sortie is of any use. My uncle was also killed in a Fairey Battle, although he survived France and was killed in a training incident at Squires Gate in late 1940.

That reminds me that I need to get around to building my Andover. Had the kit and plans for years. Have a few hours on the one at Cosford (ex 115 Sqn!)

Looking at the part numbers, I noticed it started with 54, so is this a C-54/R5D/DC-4 panel, or is that too easy?
