I read in the 1990s a novel about an RAF pilot who was sent to find somevof the experimental aircraft and bring them back to the UK. Can't remember the title or author. Operation Lusty never mentioned in the novel. Maybe this rings a bell with someone on here. Many thanks if so.
Fantastic. Many many thanks this is perfect. Learning to draw and paint the aircraft is perfect for early morning insomnia - but nice to try and get it accurate.

i have started to draw and paint some WW2 aircraft using a mixture of pencil drawing and Procreate on the iPad. Currently working on a Lancaster. I've seen a few colour charts on here with RGB values. Is there a book on RAF camouflage and markings that gives a table with RGB values etc...
