Looking for information on the B-25 in this photo, the notes about the photo say "Col. Steele's B-25" and are from Okinawa between July 1945 and Dec 1945. Trying to find out what group this plane was with and who Col. Steele was? I added the info in red to the photo. Info on the 7th AF...
Here is a photo I have of a Sikorsky R-4 helicopter taken on Saipan between 13 Dec 44 and 30 Jun 45.
If anyone has any additional info. on this helicopter I would appreciate anything you have.

I have the following information as noted on the photo - Okinawa 14 July 45 to 13 Dec 45 New Navy Fighter FU-7 (I think) - I did a quick search for FU-7 but I dont think that is right. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

I have an album of photos from a GI that was with the 465th Fighter Squadron on IE Shima and Okinawa in 1945-46 and need some help in identifying some of the planes in his photos. I don’t think that all the planes were part of the 465th since some appear to be bombers and even a seaplane...

Now that I know what to look for I checked my other photos and you can easily see the camera panels and the camera's themselves. Since the photos were quite high quality and had titles on each of them I suspect that the photos were taken and printed by the Photographic Squadron. Thanks
Thanks, based on the statement below that I found on the internet the -3Ps make sense because the photo is titled "Flight Line, Kiangwan Field, Shanghai (China). These were part of a group of photos showing construction of Yonabaru Field (Naval Air Station) on Okinawa.

I believe that these are F7F-2N Tigercats but would like some help with verifying that. Also is there someplace that has information on tail number identification such as the tail numbers shown in the photo. The photo is late 1945 to early 46.
