Early on, the larger bombers carried hand held cameras to record what would later be semi automated in bombing cameras.
My question is whether anyone knows HOW and WHERE these cameras (presumably F24 types) were stowed when not in use.

A 'not so timely" update.
The project has been on hold while I get the new workshop constructed. Hoping that will be by the end of this month.
The 18ft x 20ft (5m x 6m) workshop will be a much more comfortable home!

Nicely done Andy. Re camo edges..without wanting to get into the whole "mats" thing, I'm sure I have seen some pretty rough edges on early war Spitfire photos.
Sander, best bet is RAF Museum, they hold 25,000 or so, much more complete than "the set" which floats around . I've looked at mine and I don't have the Nav lights sorry!
