Nice Hawk! some of the paintwork looks a bit 'lumpy', but I thinks it's reflection from the lights. Very nice scheme though.

Great execution. I'm just puzzled by the Kiwi colors and markings. Sure looks busy. And the with such a colorful and intricate model, the base detracts from the artists work.

It's a real art to not only build a model, but in these competitions display, present and provide background material of the build progeny. That's intimidating. Kudos the builder. Beyond my skills.

I've had a closer look at this....and maybe it is a brush painted model?

Next up the Jug!!

Very nicely done, a good Jug. But, why does everyone paint the gun tubes (they're not the barrels) gunmetal? They should be silvery steel.
Sorry, not being picky, it's a great model, and I know most kit instructions call out gunmetal or similar for the tubes, so it aint the modellers fault in most cases.

Very nice, though I don't really like that plane. I know I'm in the minority though.

I'm with you, Catch. The Jug is brutally ugly. I like her, but not for beauty, but rather sheer purpose. This is even more evident with a sense of scale of the Jug's size.
