AML Kits

Anyone have any experience with AML kits in general, or their 1/72 Fiat G.50 bis specifically? General level of detail, quality, fit - you know the drill.

I've been trying to find the Airfix version of the plane but I'm afraid it's long been discontinued so the AML kit might be my only option.

AML kits are the short run type mostly. But it doesn't mean that these are worse than the injection ones.At galnce these can seem to be quite of poor quality. But it is not true. These are of very good quality. What is more there are added rasin and PE parts what lets make a model of better detailed.

There might be an Airfix version still around at a couple of places in the UK, if you'd like me to check Dwight?

If you have the time, I would really appreciate it. That's the ONE Italian plane I have been lusting after for a long time.

Found one!
There's an Airfix 1/72nd scale Fiat G.50 at £4.99, roughly $8 at today's rate, abvailable from King Kit, in Shropshire, UK. They're an OK place I use quite a lot for out of production or hard to find kits, and their shipping is reasonable.
Their web address is :- Kingkit - Welcome Page
If you fancy one in 1/48th scale, then there are four versions availble from the 'Flying Machines' range, three at £26.42 ($43.45) and one at £28.30 ($46.55) from Model Hobbies in the UK, another OK company I use a lot.

GOT IT! Many thanks!

And added another little goodie too.

Shipping was reasonable. about 9$ for two kits. That's about what it would cost me to get something shipped from Squadron.
