Does the Tamiya P-51D 1/48 have a short nose? - Aircraft of World War II

I keep looking at it and wondering if it does.

Hmm. I honestly don't know. I haven't built their 'D', only seen pics of it. I have built their 1/48th scale kit of the 'B/C' though, and that measured out ok against scale plans, and looks fine. The cockpit floor isn't quite right on this kit, but it can't be noticed anyway.
