| 1/35th? Why non traditional for aircraft I wonder? I suppose it would make nice pieces with armour dioramas.

| I mentioned these a month or so back, in a post about new and forthcoming releases. I presume the 'Dak' and Horsa are aimed at exactly that market Matt, to go with other 1/35th vehicles and figures, especially in dioramas. It's just a pity, as discussed in the previous thread, that the armour/military vehicle kits weren't released in 1/32nd scale, to match existing aircraft and vehicle models. But it seems that back in the late '60's/ early '70's Tamiya won the battle, and those relatively few 1/32nd scale kits of military vehicles fell by the wayside, with the rest of the model manufacturers following Tamiya, despite the preferences of the majority of modellers!
