1/48 it is indeed old boy! They have few interesting new and future releases on Hannants. Can't wait to see the new 1/48 J29 Tunnan from AZ Models , also saw on IPMS Stockholm that Hasegawa will be releasing a 1/48 Viggen!

Believe it when I see it!

Checked the mail today, and Terry's package containing a radar pod/depth charges were in there. Also in there was a slip saying another package has arrived, which I can only assume is my Helldiver so I'll pick that up today.

Finally picked up the Revell 1/32nd scale Beaufighter from Iris's shop today. This is for the MTO/North Africa GB.
Considering this kit was originally released in 1974, it's not bad overall. A bit basic, with (fine) raised panel lines etc, but that's not a problem. The interior is totally inaccurate though, with the main bulkhead about ten scale feet too far forward, and with two other bulkheads and side consoles that didn't exist! But it's got a lot of scope for some nice scratch-building. It's also rather large and beefy! But as Herr Doktor Wojtek would say, 'A big model, a big fun'!

...and the Herr Doktor Wojtek would scrap the whole thing except the antenna and scratchbuild everything, but NOT until after that he had changed the above mentioned antenna to right shape and height.

Nice haul old boy!

Right, you want me to put the Dragon Bf110 1/32 scale kit in the mail now or later?

I've just finished reading this book which I would totally recommend to anyone interested in the Nachtjagd. Worth the price alone for the pictures taken from both the Prince's personal photo albums. A must have for those interested in the night Defence of the Reich. Go buy it.
