How come nearly all JU88 kits are the A4 variant? Some years ago, I got the Hobbycraft 1/48th Ju88A4 but, as I wanted to include it in my Battle of Britain collection, I converted it to an A5. Must finish it off some time!

Yes you are right the A4 variant is very popular among model manufacturers.A year ( or maybe two) ago I prepared the pic for Pisis who was interested in the conversion into C-6 version.

Very useful pic/diagram combination! I had already built and painted mine when I found out about the antenna ( 1, green arrow) in the picture. Too late now. However, it doesn't really matter, because there's so much dust on the model, you wouldn't see it anyway!
I'll include a pic of it when I get around to setting up my model shots.

I've got the C-6 and G-6 nightfighters and a Mistel with a 190...trying to find the C-6 Cerstorer that they made in 1/48....

Im considering a Ju 88 myself from Italeri at the moment.

Its a limited edition with some multi media parts i think.
