I'd be quite happy with the 1/48 He 177 from I believe MPM.

I guess I'm the odd man out right now. I was at the LHS today to get some paint and other supplies. I took a stroll down the aircraft aisle and While I would like to do a Hellcat to go along with my Corsair and SBD Dauntless I had no troubles resisting the urge right now.

I have a few things in my meager stash I think I would like to find time to build sometime soon. At least I'll have a reason to start my 2 B-17's in the upcoming GB.

I have a P51B "Old Crow", ME163 Komet, a P38 Lightning, Another MIG3, an AC47 Gunship and a C119 that will be converted into a AC Gunship. All are in 1/72 scale.

I buy what I see really. Mind you I'm still moving through the stalwarts of WW2 so eventually I guess I'll be after those ones that are a little different.

The rest of the paint I need to get working on the three kits I've got waiting.
Am going shopping the next time I get paid, so hopefully I'd soon be able to show you guys that I can actually build stuff.

Thanks, I've gotten started on the 109, but I need a few small buckets of paint to get it just right. That'll get sorted out once I get paid, as mentioned earlier.
And I'm definitely looking forward to building the beemer.
Cheers,
Maria.

I'm with Alex on this one. I do have things I want but if I can't find them in the hobby store I just get what I see. As long as it's reasonably priced!

That's a beaut kit of the '109E Maria, looks great when built and painted. What are the ICM figures like? I need to lay in a stock of RAF, Luftwaffe and USAAF figures for various future projects, and I'm considering those ones.

Hi Terry.

I'd say that right away it looks like you should be able to get something quite decent out of the kit, as the figures are nicely made, without any great moulding errors and such, as far as I can see.
Here's the kit:

I agree the ICM figures are quite nice. I have 2 sets of USAAF crew and pilots that came with some mustangs I purcashed. Definately rival Dragon and Tamiya, cheaper too.
