Country: | Thank you! I think he will like it, and he will also know the historical value if it, which these days is rare.

Country: | I gave it to him today, and he loved it! As it turns out, his father served in the RCN on the HMCS Prince David, which I did not know at the time of purchase, so he really appreciated that it was a Navy plane.

Country: | Thank you sirs. I will be getting a F4U-1D (Tamiya again, it was so great), and that one will be overall DSB so it will be nice and easy to paint, and I can do it post construction. The reason I did this plane like I did was that there are 3 different colours. It was just much easier to be able to paint the Sky on the bottom and the Grays on the top separately.

Country: | Amazing model. You should sumbit the pictures of the finished product to the Fine Scale Modeling Magazine. My father put a F4U together in Pacific markings, it was a 1/32 kit and it came out really well too. But yours is the best I have ever seen. I especially like the camoflague on it, how did you do that? Did you spray a base color and then go over it with a secondary? |
