Country: | I don't collect die-cast cars, but I do have a few that belonged to my
father-in-law. Both are "Tootsie Toys" which I understand is the forerunner
of either match box or hot wheels. I'll dig them out and post pic's.

Country: | heres my interceptor from the movie 'Mad Max'. It started out life as a 1974 Ford XB GT hardtop. One of the interesting parts of this car is there is a red button under the gearknob. In the movie this supposedly turns the supercharger on and off! The model is no. 5969 of 6000 made worldwide.

Country: | Hey guys heres my 1/18 Holden Monaro CV8 24Hr Bathurst Winning car.
The US blokes may notice its the Pontiac GTO which we exported for a while.
THis model has a 7 litre V8 aluminium block and made some huge power.
Brock, Murphy, Kelly and Bright were the drivers.
Note the fabirc window protection and the engine which can display all the trumpets and injectors with an removable engine cover. Also the fuel pump and lines in the boot.
Just on Charles's post before I believe Tootsie Toys were the forerunner of Hot Wheels as matchbox was originally English with Lesney.
