I'd say not much difference except for seatbelts. Not downplaying Wayne but rather the opposite.

General A9 question...or rather, specific in a way

Dear all,

I'm looking for some A9 info, and since you have an A9 thread going, I thought I would post here...

I read in other places that the A9 could have various attributes, among them the Ta 152 tail. I have in mind an A9 with outboard cannon, blown hood, wide props and the Ta 152 tail. Does anyone know of one with these specifications? At this point I'm looking for markings? What JG would likely have had such a machine if it existed?

Thank you, Matt

Wayne.... you never cease to amaze me with the detail you can come up
with on your models. You have a great talent, my friend, and it shows.
Great job...

Nope, I didn't mean Doras.

"One difference in the airframe between A-9 and A-8 model was a larger "blown" cockpit canopy, adapted from the Fw 190F-8 version.

A few planes also got tail sections with an enlarged tail as provided for Ta 152 fighters."

This is from Modeller's Guide to Focke-Wulf Fw 190 Variants - Radial Engine Versions - Part I

the A-8 also had blown canopies as well as the A-9 had flat canopies, this all from photographic evidence. never heard of an A-9 with a Ta tail
