| A He. 111 landed in the back of my Toyota ! Havn't been around this site in ages. A good friend of mine used to own a Hobby shop and went nipples up, too bad. He gave me a ton of WWII Luftwaffe kits ( not so bad), mostly 1:72 scale. I managed to get a few built over the winter. I was looking at the snow melting in the back of my POS Toyota 4X4 and thought it would make a great background shot. I sculpted the snow a bit to make it look like a flat area for parking planes.
The kit is Italeari which I guess is Revell now. I'll post some picks of the other kits I've finnished later.

| Funny, that plane is how I found this sight in the first place, I was trying to figure out what colour flight suits crews on the Eastern front wore. I went with day glo pink like someone here seggested. Looks hot.
Go watch Hockey now !

Very nice model Bustedwing. With the snow in the background it looks really like the real one in Russia.

Eighth | To be honest ,Bustedwing can answer your question only. But looking at the model I've got an impression the model was painted with the green colour firstly and with white/light grey spots secondly. However the green lines could be coloured on the upper surfaces using an airbrush equipped with a small nozzle in diameter.

| That's exactly how I did it. Of course being a subscriber to the " If it can _ _ _ _ up it will _ _ _ _ theory" I tried it first on some sheet metal spraying the white first and the green and just couldn't get the right effect. I also tinted the white slightly with some yellow to make a dirty sort of look to it. Yellow makes white look a bit dirty, black just kind of makes grey.
