I am going to try to build a C5 mailbox.

This weekend I am going to try to design a C5 Galaxy mail box. The nose will open to put the mail in. I live in a good neighborhood so I think it will be safe. We will see.

What a great idea!

While you're at it.... make a B29 wind vane!

I will post pics as I go. First I have to figure out what to build it out of. This is not going to be easy.

Heres the B29 weather vane I saw at the Chino 2007 airshow.

Its about 24" long.

If anyone is handy with a cutting torch and welder, think of the possibilities.

Deradler should make one of his Blackhawk!

Well I think I am going to build the plane from foam. I will then fiberglass it and remove the foam. This will give me a plane that will be somewhat weather proof. I will make it in pieces then assemble them. Once assembled they will never come apart. The nose will be hinged and not sure what to do for the red flag. I don't want it on the side but not sure about what to use. I now need blue foam.
