Ideas and pics help please!

I want to do a diorama of an Allied vehicle dump in Italy, what trucks/tanks would be around, would captured vehicles be found at a dump and if so- would there be any extra security?
The vehicle dump I want to do is the one at Monza racetrack during the Italian campaign, mainly because my grandad was stationed there- his office was in a little shack on top of the main stand. Pics of Monza back then would be very welcome.

if you give me some time i could get some pictures my grandfather took, he drove Diamond T lorries for the 8th Army in Africa and Italy. SHots of the trucks and that the surroundings arent really captured though.
