Smile my 1/33rd scale paper lancaster [ pic's ]

hi wurger / all ,

heres some pictures of my 'flymodel' lancaster bomber, made entirely out of paper, open a door and it will blow away ! .
i vac' formed the spinners/front piece on all the bombs/nose blister and the dome, wheels are made from wood, the clear canopy was made from a clear toy box cut into sections

not the easist thing to make you have to be very carefull on your glueing and cutting.

thanks for the interest...ian.

Hi Ian Lanc,

Great, great work you have done on it.Especially I like the idea of vac' formed spinners. These look much better than these from the kit.As I can see you did some weathering additionaly. Also nice.To sum up, M8

Ian as a dyed in the wool Lancaster fan that is great work mate. I bet my father would have dearly loved to have seen your lovingly done model. He was a Mid Upper Gunner with 467 Squadron RAAF. A very impressive job mate that you have done
