Country: | Wow, I never did see that 109 finished. Looks great! And Les, you'll enjoy it. It'll seem like you're having deja vu on parts as some of the trees are identical to the A (or rather the other way around), but it's a great kit nonetheless. Any ideas for paint schemes?

Country: | Thx fellas...
The 109 was my first model built in over 15 years... I didnt use an airbrush either, as u can tell compared to the 190A-8... It was a trial to see if I was still gonna be interested in doing them again...
It worked and I am hooked on model building....

Country: | As for the Dora, although I really want to do a Papagei D-9, I dont think my skills are quite up to the red paint and the striped decals....
I will probably do Dortenmanns solid yellow tailed crate....

Country: | I'm sure you'd do ok with the red paint. Just paint as much as you can before assembly. That's what I did with my 190. The stripes will be a pain though, you're right about that.

Country: | Maybe later on after a few more kits under me belt.... I like the idea of having both of Dortenmanns kites, side by side... I think he was one hell of a leader and pilot....

Country: | I think these white stripes are very easy to paint.Simply paint upper surfaces with white and then use masking tape to cut off these stripes and stick them at the proper placs. Then paint with red colour. When the sripes made of tabw will be removed the white ones will appear.
