Modelling Books

I just borrowed 2 about aviation modelling from my local library.

they are great both packed filled with information.

I'll give you the titles;

Scale Aircraft Modelling By Mark Stanton

Advanced Aviation Modellig By John McIllmurrray

Anyone else used these type of books to better their models?

Cheers

Check out the newsagents too, I usually look at the various modelling mags for articles and reference etc. and only buy those that have specific stuff I am looking for....

Some nice books there guys! I normally find that the 'general' books are all the same 'old stuff', but those dealing with specific aircraft are quite good. The quality and info in some books has certainly improved in recent years, particularly in those that Wojtek posted. I've seen reviews in modelling mags about the Kagero books, and they sound fantastic!
Like wayne, I normally have a browse at the modelling mags in the newsagents, and buy one if there is something specific I might find useful for future reference; same with aviation mags. Problem is, I'm running out of room for all the piles of mags, and had to dispose of a lot not long ago! Didn't know Osprey did a 'Mossie' book, think I'll get that, as my original 'bible', the Patrick Stephens book from the early 80's, is in Denmark, on loan!

Here's part of my reference library, in 'hardback' books. There's about the same again in softback, loose-leaf files, and magazine collections. There are a few loaned-out at the moment, hence the gaps on the shelves.
