Como muchos de vosotros sabréis, me uní a la investigación sobre el U-617 que lleva a cabo el Profesor Emilio Umbría hace nueve años. En estos tres años, me he registrado en varios Foros Internacionales, siguiendo muchas pistas, escribiendo y contestando multitud de correos electrónicos, conversaciones telefónicas con muchas personas, haciendo muy buenos amigos, leyendo libros y anotando, recopilando multitud de datos, imágenes, informaciones que nos permitan conocer los hechos que comenzaron la madrugada del día 12 de Septiembre de 1943. Intentado, sin resultado, el contacto con asociaciones de antiguos submarinistas.

En estas etapas finales, que hemos sabido que muchos de ellos fueron internados en el Enklave de Rimini, y va transcurriendo el tiempo, poco a poco. Calculando mentalmente sus edades, a partir de los datos de Ubootwaffe, los supervivientes tendrán actualmente cerca de ochenta y cinco años.

Es precisamente en este punto, que solicito de nuevo vuestra inestimable colaboración. Pensamos, a semejanza como hizo otro investigador, publicar un anuncio en un periódico alemán......

Nuestro deseo, no sé si será cumplido, es el contacto con estas personas o sus familiares cercanos para que nos cuenten / relaten, si es su deseo, sus experiencias vitales, que queremos reflejar en nuestro trabajo. Es por esto, que os pido a través de este medio, que divulguéis esta convocatoria entre vuestros amigos, familiares.....

As many of you may know, I joined at the investigation on the U-617 conducted by Professor Emilio Umbria nine years ago. In these three years I have recorded in various international forums, following many leads, writing and answering many emails, phone conversations with many people, doing very good friends, reading books and writing down, collected a mass of data, images, information allow us to know the facts that began the morning of September 12, 1943. Tried, without success, contact with associations of former submariners.....

In these final stages, we know that many of them were interned in the Enklave of Rimini, and lapsing the time goes slowly. Mentally calculating their ages, from/by Ubootwaffe data, the survivors have now nearly eighty-five.
