What has been the best Metal band since 2000.
Well my favorite is Metallica and for they are still the greatest Metal band to ever make music so I voted for them again but bands like Trivium and Godsmack have been making some great music.
If there is someone not on the poll that you like let me know and I can add them.

Great band and really good live. I really hope they will be coming to Rock im Park this year.

I spent some time last night going through the bands listed and the albums produced during the last 7 years, and NO ONE comes even close to Sevendust....

Speaking of Rock im Park. Korn just announced that Joey Jordison of Slipknot will be behind the drums for them this year at the festival. That should be pretty cool!

Country: | WTF! Children of Bodom are nothing close to Black Metal. They are sort of modern Thrash but nothing close to Black Metal.

Dimmu Borgir is one of the few Black Metal bands that I really like. They put on a great show as well.

Bodom border more on progressive metal with a raw edge. Definite black/death influences however Dimmu Borgir are true Black Metal, also Satyricon. | |
