    Agreed, I can think of many bands from Germany that are better than this band.

    Rammstein
    Accept
    Doro
    Edguy
    In Extremo
    Guano Apes
    Grave Digger
    Michael Schenker Group
    Helloween
    Running Wild
    Warlock
    Die Ärzte (even though I can not stand this band, I really do not like them)
    Die Toten Hosen
    Böhse Onkelz

    Not all of these may be well known outside of Germany (except those that are in bold, they are popular world wide), but they are better bands.
