I got to see Stone Temple Pilots a few months ago and I just recently went to Ozzfest. rock!

I think I'm going to see Avenged Sevenfold in Tulsa here in a few weeks.

My tickets just arrived for the Doro Pesch concert on December 13, 2008. Man I can not wait to see the first "First Lady of Metal". Doro Pesch is the first woman to fully break into the heavy metal scene back in 1983.

She was the singer of the band Warlock from 1983 to 1987, with songs such as All We Are and tours with The Scorpions and Megadeth made them very popular.

In 1987 the band split up and Doro Pesch started a very successful solo tour.

Anyhow on 13 December 2008 she is celebrating her 25th anniversary in the Metal/Rock world in her home town of Duesseldorf, Germany. It is going to be a great big party with lots of other great acts performing along side her.

-Doro Pesch (it is her anniversary concert...)
-Warlock (in the original line up!)
-Arch Enemy (really good female fronted metal band)
-Leaves Eyes (a really mellow hard rock band fronted by a female)
-Tarja Turunen (Ex singer of Nightwish!!! Probably the most beautiful voice in metal music! Can not wait to see her)
-Warrel Dane - (Singer of the metal band Nevermore)
-Bobby "Blitz" Ellsworth (Singer of the metal band Overkill!!!!)
-Udo Dirkschneider (singer of the band U.D.O and Accept!!!!)
-Axel Rudi Pell
-Sabina Classen (singer of the metal band Holy Moses)
-Floor Jansen (singer of metal band After Forever)
-Krypteria
-Saltatio Mortis
-Benedictum

Great show last night! Of course Queen is not the same without Freddie, but I also did not get the impression that Paul Rodgers was trying to replace Freddie.

All in all it was just a great rock show!

I actually did not get the tickets for the 27th of March. They did not hold my reservations.

That is okay though because I have two tickets in my hand now for the 7th of March 2009 in Duesseldorf, Germany.

Bring on AC/DC baby!!!!

It is going to suck having to travel 6 hours to get there, but the concert will be worth it.

Good luck Marcel. AC/DC presale was horrible and all the shows sold out in like 30 minutes. You have to have luck to get one. I got lucky and was able to get 2.

Thanks Chirs, I will need it. The tickets will only be sold on internet and only 2 tickets per person. Last time they did this, I could not access the server and when it came back online, it was sold out. Obviously others had access at that time.

That is the same way they were sold here, internet only and 2 tickets per person. I too had no access and when I finally got in, the two shows I wanted were sold out and I had to take another show. 5 minutes later it was sold out too.

I feel lucky that I got two tickets at all. I have to travel 6 hours just to go and see them, but who cares it is AC/DC!

My tickets came in the mail today by the way:

I like a lot of Queens songs. Especially Under Pressure and Bohemian Rhapsody.
