Favourite military / war themed songs?

Just wondering what tunes people like that have a military theme to them. There doesn't seem to be that many out there, and all the ones I can think of are decidedly anti war. Even if I may not agree 100%, it doesn't stop them from being poignant and moving. Personally, the first two are hard to listen to without a lump in the throat, especially as they are from bands who are known for faster or more upbeat work. Anyways, I'd list

Dropkick Murphys - The Green Fields of France
Motorhead - 1916
Iron Maiden - Paschendale and Aces High
Johnny Cash - The Ballad of Ira Hayes
Metallica - Disposable Heroes, For Whom the Bell Tolls and One (especially the S&M version)

any others?

I have it on vinyl and on my computer. I play it all the time. My wife likes it also and she had me burn a copy for her car.

Well gentlemen and Ladies going to step away from modern music. And seeing this site is devoted to aircraft from WW2. Going to cast my vote as such

1 Glenn Miller
2 Tommy Dorsey
3 Nat King Cole
4 Vera Lyne
5 Noel Coward
6 Andrew's Sisters
7 And many more
I know they are not songs but the music from the above inspired a generations before ours. Our Parents our Grand Parents or Great Grand Parents. They went through a depression and fought a war and listened to the above preformers. And you know our Parents Grand Parents and Great Grand Parents they dreamt of times of betterment for themselves and their families. And you have to admit those preformers came out with great music. Easy listening music as well
